How did  you become a Hand Analyst & how long have you been doing this?

In 2004 I was running a successful pet-care company and working with a marketing coach to help establish myself and my business in my local market.  Throughout my time with my coach my business was growing and my bottom line was doubling.  One day, while I talked about my belief that there had to be “more” to life – she recommended that I have a professional Hand Analysis session.  After my hand analysis session I was amazed, and a little discombobulated.  What the hand analyst revealed in concise and lyrical phrasing was the purpose I was born to live.   It was clear to me that while I was doing good with my business, I needed to start down a path to something bigger.  In 2005 the opportunity appeared to become a certified Hand Analyst – learning from the same amazing woman who read my hands.  I took the opportunity, not really knowing what I was going to do with the investment, but with a deep knowing that it was time to get out of my comfort zone and move ahead.  Since becoming certified in 2005, I have read close to 500 pairs of hands and continue to hone my skills and knowledge through my teacher’s Hand Analysis Mastermind group, and through my own study and teaching programs.

Tell me a little about your experiences with hand analysis.

When I was in grade school at Immaculate Conception in Mahwah, NJ, I remember picking up books about all things “esoteric” at the library, from Astrology to Tarot to Palmistry.  This wasn’t forbidden in my house, but it wasn’t the norm.  We were a Catholic family and the church frowned upon practices that it considered Pagan or fortune-telling.  I always felt a little bit sneaky as I read these books and tried to interpret my hands for myself but I was often frustrated because there were so many details in each book and I couldn’t always decide if what I was hoping to see was what was really in my hands or not.

When I went off to college my interest in Palmistry gained some momentum and I read everything I could on the topic.  My roommates would bring people home and have me read their hands.  And to be honest, the results were a little freaky.  People wanted to know HOW in the world I knew so much about them.  In fact, I was a little overwhelmed by the reactions and decided to table my study of hands.   

Finally, as an adult I was introduced to the study of Hand Analysis in a systematic and replicable way.  I learned the skills I needed to bring this gift to others and I realized the power it had to change lives.  Not by predicting the future, but by presenting a grander possibility. 

When I was a little girl I just believed I was destined for greatness, then life and “reality” tried to get in my way.  Adults that I loved and respected told me, “Don’t get your hopes up, you can’t change the world.”  They told me to have a “fall back plan” and to not dream so big for fear of letting me be disappointed.  When I had my hands read that first time I realized I didn’t have to shove my core greatness aside any longer.  Hand Analysis brings that gift to everyone, it’s non-denominational, non-racial, non-gender-biased — it is unique to each and every human because each person has a distinctive hand!

Who benefits from hand analysis?

As I indicated above, hand analysis is a benefit to anyone seeking to find their life purpose, or find ways to step into their purpose.  Frankly, the people who seem to get the most out of their readings are those who feel like their life is Great right now, but they’re starting to ask themselves what mark it is they can leave on the world.  They’re looking for a new way to usher energy and meaning into their already good life and their hands show us the best way to break through!

The clients that I work with most often are coaches, therapists, ministers, writers, Reiki practitioners, acupuncturists, animal communicators, massage therapists, yoga instructors, pet-sitters, dog-trainers, alternative therapy providers, caregivers, moms, animal communicators, teachers, professors, or women transitioning from corporate or government work to creating their own businesses. 

In addition,I facilitate Palmistry Circles in my local community at Radiance Yoga, teach seminars and workshops at Metaphysical shops throughout the east coast and am often the guest at “girls nights” and bridal showers – where I have the joy of introducing hand analysis to groups of people.  

As an aside, nearly every one of my clients has a strong affinity for animals and eco-friendly trends.

Are there any services you don’t provide?

I’m not a fortune-teller.  So if you’re looking for someone to tell you what gender your baby is going to be, or even if you’re going to get pregnant – I’m not a fit for you.  I won’t diagnose health issues or conditions, I won’t counsel you if you need medical or mental therapy, and I won’t tell you when or how you’re going to meet the partner of your dreams.  You have complete control of your future, so I leave the choices you make up to you to find the answers to those questions.

What kind of certifications do you have and what organizations do you belong to?

I was certified through the program provided by my teacher, Baeth Davis at the Hand Analyst, Inc.  This was an intensive program including live classroom, tele-classroom lessons, time with a peer client and reader, meetings with a mentor as well as completion of an oral exam.  I am proud to be associated with her and the high quality standards she holds for Hand Analysts.

I’m a member of Women Building and Investing in Success, Holistic Practioners Business Association,  Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, Kappa Delta Sorority and numerous other community business and charitable organizations.

How are you different from other Palm-readers?

The thing I hear most often is “you don’t look anything like I expected!”  So I guess they expected me to show up wearing multiple, mulit-colored scarves and robes.  Don’t get me wrong, if that floats your boat, I’m all for it.  But I’m a regular gal who used to work some high-powered jobs in and around DC.  I “get” corporate America because I left a 6-figure job to start my first company and create my own dreams.  I understand what it’s like to live in the real world – pay the mortgage, manage a business, hire help, be a loving partner and keep up with friends and family.  I’m living in the same world you are, with my own challenges and successes.  Ultimately, my calling is to help you get out of your own way so you can awaken your soul.  That’s the reason I use hand analysis.  It’s a guaranteed way for getting you in close contact with what really makes your heart and soul soar. 

I don’t predict fortunes, I have no way of knowing if your spouse is cheating, or if your child is going to graduate Valedictorian.  Those are solely determined by the choices made by the individuals involved.  What I can do is sit with you in a place of respect for the person you are, and gently bring forth the gifts you have so you can apply them to making your choices and living a vibrant, happy and prosperous life.

What type of personality do you work best with and what’s expected of me?

Working with over-acheiving, sucessful, savvy business women who love animals and nature is a thrill.  Most of the women who come to me have acheived some level of success in their careers and lives and they’re ready to “kick it up a notch.”  They are naturally curious and skeptical and aren’t looking for a “magic pill” but rather, they’re searching for a guide to reaching their next pinnacle.  Their goal is to combine the outer trappings of success (nice house, well-tailored clothes and a fun car) with the inner trappings of success – the feeling of significantly impacting lives or the community for the better.  They love giving back to their community in terms of time and money and are compelled to find ways to “make a difference.”  Most are starting to recognize a more spiritual component in their lives and they’re looking for some basic guidance on what to do with that new-found connection with the Divine.   It’s not a denominational thing, it’s just a sense of “I’m part of a bigger whole and I want to make the best of my gifts.”  These are clients that are passionate, fun-loving, open to learning and willing to invest in themselves and their growth. 

I’d expect you to be willing to be open-minded on the journey through your hands and willing to arrive at your session open to the possibilities that are going to show up.  Your ability to ask questions when you have them and to participate in your reading is appreciated!

Who won’t benefit from your service?

I’ve found that negative personalities or those who haven’t opened themselves up to other possibiliites aren’t good candidates for a hand reading.  What I mean by that is someone who is simply close-minded and not willing to take responsibility for their own growth.  Folks who believe that every “bad” thing that happens to them was a personal affront and is someone else’s fault aren’t good candidates for opening their soul using Hand Analysis.

Yes, in order to be able to provide this service to as many people as possible I offer weekly and monthly payment options through paypal. 

 If you’re not satisfied with your reading for any reason, simply notify me in writing (email is fine) within 24 hours of your session and your payment will be refunded.  If you are on a payment plan, we will refund the amount you’ve paid and suspend the payment schedule for the remainder.
